In Uganda, hundreds of children face life without the stability of family care. To respond to this urgent need, L.I.O.N Uganda, in partnership with Cornerstone Ministry, is supporting 200 orphans in Budaka with essential care and resources.
This initiative goes beyond meeting immediate needs – it is about restoring dignity, building hope, and ensuring every child has the chance to thrive.
The project was inspired by L.I.O.N’s core mission to encourage, equip, empower, and engage, extending compassion to the most vulnerable members of society.
In May 2024, L.I.O.N Uganda also held a leadership retreat in Kampala, chaired by Jerry Vreeman, where the team developed a strategic plan to expand this kind of life-changing outreach across the country.
