L.I.O.N Outreach–UK is a charitable organization dedicated to training and supporting individuals of all ages across Africa and the United Kingdom.
We connect leaders in obscurity with the tools, skills, and mentorship they need to create lasting change in their communities.
Our mission is to network individuals and organizations on behalf of leaders in obscurity.
At the heart of everything we do is the powerful 4-E approach:

Our Leadership
JERRY VREEMAN
Executive Director of LION Outreach International (United States)
Jerry Vreeman is an internationally recognised motivational teacher, trainer, consultant, businessman, and former radio/television producer.
He is a certified instructor with the John Maxwell Leadership Organisation and an ordained pastor in the Christian Reformed Church.
Jerry’s definition of leadership shapes our vision:
“Leadership is the ability to see a better future and the skill to influence others to see that future and work together to accomplish it.”
His extensive media experience includes directing and producing hundreds of stadium and television events with well-known evangelists, actors, speakers, and pastors.
He travels worldwide many times a year to consult, train, teach, and coordinate L.I.O.N activities and operations. Jerry is mentoring numerous leaders worldwide, has created multiple leadership resources, and is currently developing a “Leadership in the Workplace” course.
A man of faith, vision, and compassion, Jerry and his wife, Cori, who shares his mission, have dedicated their lives to serving God and others. They have six children and nine grandchildren.
SAMSON OLUWATOBI EMMANUEL
Director, LION Outreach UK
SAMSON OLUWATOBI EMMANUEL is the managing partner and team lead for LION Outreach United Kingdom. He is a development enthusiast with training and experience in leadership and management across industries. He works in the UK as a business development manager, leading a multiethnic community of team members.
As a volunteer for LION, he also interacts with the LION Africa team, managing the effective deployment of resources. He holds a Masters degree from the University of Hull, United Kingdom, a certification in leadership and Management from the School of Politics, Policy and Governance, a diploma in public policy from the Clinton Global Foundation University affiliated with Vanderbilt University, Certificate Diploma in Leadership from the Transformers Loadorship Academy, and a Diploma in project management with London Institute of Skill Development UK.
Samson has served in various capacities, from leading the “Northern region” team of the Africa Project Against Suicide Project, to organizing Community-development-centered outreaches and conversations both in Africa and the United Kingdom, to working with a team of change agents dedicated to national and global growth. Samson is an evangelist for the message that says “if we must lead a people, we must first lead ourselves*, hence he is committed to the train of ENCOURAGING, EQUIPING, EMPOWERING AND ENGAGING as a L.I.O (Leader in Obscurity)
SAMSON OLUWATOBI EMMANUEL is the Managing Partner and Team Lead for L.I.O.N Outreach United Kingdom. He works in the UK as a Business Development Manager, leading a multiethnic community of team members.
As a volunteer for L.I.O.N, he also collaborates with the L.I.O.N Africa team, managing the effective deployment of resources. He holds a Master’s degree from the University of Hull, United Kingdom; a certification in Leadership and Management from the School of Politics, Policy and Governance; a diploma in Public Policy from the Clinton Global Initiative University, affiliated with Vanderbilt University; a Certificate in Leadership from the Transformers Leadership Academy; and a diploma in Project Management from the London Institute of Skills Development, UK.
