LION OUTREACH MALAWI

Under the leadership of Hon. Greald Phiri, LION Malawi was established in 2024 to encourage, engage, equip, and empower the people of Malawi. 

LION Outreach held the inaugural meeting and leadership training in May 2024, the meeting was chaired by Jerry Vreeman, the executive director of LION Outreach International. 

The LION Malawi core team is on course to start multiple outreach programs in line with the core team decision. 

Under the leadership of Wako Rogers Kinani, LION Uganda was established in 2023 to encourage, engage, equip, and empower the people of Uganda. LION Outreach Uganda in partnership with Cornerstone Ministry are presently supporting about 200 orphans in Budaka, Uganda. 

In May 2024, a leadership retreat was held in Kampala to encourage and equip the leadership team of LION Uganda. This meeting also gave birth to the design of a strategic plan for LION Uganda. The meeting was chaired by Jerry Vreeman, the executive director of LION Outreach International.

Under the leadership of Grace Agyemang and Richard Asiedu Buoh, LION Ghana was established in 2023 to encourage, engage, equip, and empower the people of Ghana. 

LION Outreach held the inaugural meeting and leadership training in 2023. The meeting was chaired by Jerry Vreeman, the executive director of LION Outreach International. 

Under the leadership of Kayode Peters, LION Nigeria was established in 2024 to encourage, engage, equip, and empower the people of Nigeria. LION Outreach inaugural meeting and leadership training will be held in Lagos by July 2024. Jerry Vreeman, the executive director of LION Outreach International, will chair the meeting. 

Different skills training programs have been planned to take place in Abuja Nigeria in 2024 to support the internally displaced people.

Under the interim leadership of Travis Kasakula, LION Zambia was established in 2023 to encourage, engage, equip, and empower the people of Zambia. LION Outreach held the inaugural meeting and leadership training in 2023. Jerry Vreeman, the executive director of LION Outreach International, chaired the meeting. 

Early 2024, LION Zambia was able to build 2 different boreholes in a village near Lusaka. These boreholes are the immediate response to a community that has been in need of safe and clean water for years.

LION Outreach is on course to partner with the authorities to set up a school in the same village and also start multiple outreach programs across the country in line with our commitment.

Under the leadership of Apollos Tuyishime, LION Rwanda was established in 2024 to encourage, engage, equip, and empower the people of Rwanda.

LION Outreach held the inaugural meeting and leadership training in March 2024. Jerry Vreeman, the executive director of LION Outreach International, chaired the meeting.

Special leadership training was also held for a number of selected leaders of the University of Rwanda Students' Union within the university campus.

This training was funded by LION Outreach International and LION UK.
